Why do we see certain people in our dreams?

I think it’s the exact opposite. When I
keep seeing people in my dreams, it’s because they’ve been on my mind for some
reason lately. For example, I went to a concert the other day, and an old
friend of mine was in the band. After the concert, I left without getting a
chance to talk to her. I really regretted not getting to see her and I kept
thinking about it every day that week. Guess who I kept seeing in my dreams?
Yes, her. I think it would be pretty awesome if the people I saw in my dreams
wanted to see me, though.
